Before the intervention
Breast reduction starts with a personalized consultation with our experts. This step allows you to discuss your expectations and to define a surgical plan adapted to your needs.
○ Assessment of the desired size and expectations: Our specialists analyze your morphology and discuss your aesthetic and functional goals with you.
○ Personalized plan: A tailor-made protocol is established to meet your specific needs while respecting the natural proportions of your figure.
○ Preoperative assessment: A complete medical examination is carried out to ensure a safe intervention.
The intervention
Breast reduction is performed under general anesthesia in a safe and refined environment.
○ Removing excess tissue: Excess glandular, fatty, and skin tissue is removed to reduce breast volume.
○ Repositioning the areola: The areola is repositioned to guarantee an aesthetic and natural result, in harmony with the new shape of the chest.
○ Breast contouring: The breasts are reshaped to provide an elegant and symmetrical shape.
○ Duration of the procedure: The operation generally lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
After the intervention
The post-operative period is well supervised to ensure a comfortable recovery and optimal results:
○ Wearing a compression bra: This device promotes healing and keeps the chest in an ideal position.
○ Management of the consequences: Slight edema or bruising may occur, but they gradually disappear within a few weeks.
○ Post-operative follow-up: Regular consultations make it possible to monitor the evolution and ensure a lasting and harmonious result.

The number of reduced cup sizes depends on your expectations, your body type and the recommendations of our specialists. In general, it is possible to reduce by 1 to 3 cup sizes while maintaining a harmonious chest that is proportionate to your figure. During your consultation, our experts will guide you to determine the optimal volume to be removed, in accordance with your aesthetic and functional goals.
Breast reduction involves incisions, but these are done strategically to minimize their visibility. Scars are usually located around the areola, in the submammary fold, and sometimes vertically in between. Over time, they gradually fade and become discreet. Our surgeons use advanced techniques to ensure fine and well-positioned scars, and adapted post-operative care will be recommended to you to promote optimal healing.
Recovery after a breast reduction varies according to each patient, but in general: Light activities can be resumed after 7 to 10 days. Edemas and bruises disappear gradually over 2 to 4 weeks. Intense physical activities should be avoided for 4 to 6 weeks. Careful post-operative follow-up is provided to support you throughout your recovery and ensure lasting and harmonious results.
In most cases, it is possible to breast-feed after a breast reduction, although this will depend on the technique used and the amount of breast tissue removed. Our specialists take into account your maternity plans when planning the intervention in order to preserve the mammary glands and milk ducts necessary for breastfeeding as much as possible. This question will be addressed in detail during your one-on-one consultation.
